Sunset Beach free Coastal parking will be lost forever

On February 7th, the Coastal Commission will vote to approve two projects that will permanently remove 3 on-street public coastal parking spots so a developer can install a new driveway. Please email the Coastal Commission before 5 pm on February 1st, and request they deny this project. See the instruction at the bottom of this site.

Please look at the first paragraph on page 2 of the reports. It clearly states, “The proposed project would also create new garage access from 24th Street, resulting in loss of up to three on-street public parking spaces..”

Dear Coastal Commission.  Please deny this project because it is not preserving on-street coastal parking. This project will be permanently removing three on-street coastal parking spots without any replacements. By approving this project the Coastal Commission will be violating its highest priority of maintaining public coastal access.
