Good news for the Huntington Harbor boat owners!
The Maxum Company has committed to operating the Huntington Harbor Fuel Dock and will finally provide this essential service to our community of over 6,000 boaters.
After many painful months of having to go all the way to Alamitos Bay to refuel, this is quite a relief to have this convenience back in our harbor. The fuel dock will be operating 7 days a week, from 7am to 5pm (6pm on weekends). Here is an excerpt from article The Log about the re-opening:
After four months of hard work, Maxum Petroleum officials announced the fuel dock officially opened for business on May 25.
The fuel dock, which closed on Oct. 1, 2015 after its original owners shut down the business at Mariners Point, was set to re-open under new ownership on April 1. However, the opening date was postponed.
Huntington Harbour and area boaters have a local fueling venue once again.
Maxum Petroleum’s Mark Mason stated, “This couldn’t have been done without the amazing support from the local community and the city of Huntington Beach. This is a new venture for our company as our primary business is servicing the international and commercial marine business along with blending and distribution of lubricates into the marine market. I and my team members look forward to seeing you at the dock. Thanks again for the warm welcome into your community.”
